My husband Rasmus and I live in Randers with our three children.
In 2021, we bought a plot of land in Kandestederne and found an architect who designed our dream home. It was a great privilege to be able to realize our dream of a vacation home that combines our wishes: proximity to family in North Jutland and nature. The house is built exactly as we wanted it – with space for our large family, which may grow even larger in the future when our children have children of their own. We can imagine still living in the house when we are old and gray.
What we love most is the large nature area near the house. We enjoy hiking through the protected dune landscape to Råbjerg Mile or going to the roaring North Sea. On a windy day, it is rough, and on a calm summer day, it is wonderful.

We had very high expectations for this vacation home, especially considering its location and architecture. However, the house exceeded our expectations in every way. The location in the sand dunes is simply beautiful. The architecture by Bruno Jakobsen touched our hearts. Everything is so well thought out. Excellent choice of materials and beautiful craftsmanship. The muted acoustics in the house contribute to a pleasant atmosphere, even with seven adults and four small children. We highly recommend this house.
