We are a family of four with two adult children. The cabin is our summer paradise, which we bought in 2020 after having been looking for such a place for 6 years. The cabin is secluded with a view of the sea. Here we find peace in the silence and with the beautiful view of the sea. Here we eat most meals outside to the sound of waves and birdsong. In the summer, we use the sea a lot, both for swimming and boating. We also love hiking along the beautiful trails that run along the entire coast.
If we want more life around us, the town of Fredrikstad is not far away, as well as the cozy restaurants around Hvaler. The cabin is located at the end of a rocky outcrop, with a large plot where we hardly notice the neighboring cabins. The sun reaches the terrace from early morning to late evening. The cabin is perceived as our sanctuary where we relax well.
