The house, built almost 200 years ago, is a portal to the past, beautifully restored with modern comfort. Here you can really feel the wings of history among arch-Danish cultural icons such as Madam Blå and the old wood-burning stove.

Inside, the house offers a charming combination of historic aesthetics and contemporary convenience. The cozy farmhouse-style living rooms are complemented by modern amenities such as a ceramic stove and air-to-air heat pump. The new bathroom with underfloor heating and a well-equipped kitchen ensure a comfortable stay, while the first floor beckons with stunning views and a cozy loft for the kids.

Outside, a large, lush garden awaits, still retaining the essence of an old-fashioned country garden with crooked trees and cozy nooks. Spend the evening by the fire pit or on the terrace with a homemade pizza from the pizza oven. The garden invites you to relax and socialize under the stars.

In the old days, the road outside the house was just a dirt road. Today it is the main road to the Odden-Århus ferry. Traffic noise is therefore unavoidable, but on the other hand, there is a bus service right outside, so it's easy to get to and from the site if you don't have a car.

The area around the house is rich in activities and nature experiences. Go fishing for garfish and sea trout at Kattegat or enjoy a walk along the beach to Sonnerup Forest. Local specialties can be enjoyed on Odden, where you can visit Birkemosegård for organic produce, Tir Bageri for freshly baked bread, or Havnebyens Kaffebar for a good cup of coffee.
