We are a small family of three: Me, my partner and our son. We bought our cottage in 2019 and use it often on weekends. It's a little paradise away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, where our son can play on the grounds and we can relax and enjoy the tranquility and nature of Kulhuse.
We love the location in Kulhuse, with its beautiful nature, charming atmosphere and relaxed lifestyle. Kulhuse Forest is close to the cottage and is a great place for picnics, picnics, mountain biking or hiking. We love the lovely sandy beach, which is a perfect place to relax, soak up the sun and swim in the sea.
We go hiking in Arrenæs, a protected nature area and peninsula located off Kulhuse. It's a great place to hike, bike or just walk around and enjoy the unspoiled nature, the view of the Isefjord and a visit to Arrenæs Fyr, which is an old lighthouse from the 19th century. We also love Kulhuse Stig, where we enjoy the fresh sea air and the view of Roskilde Fjord and swim or fish in the water. From Kulhuse Harbor you can sail over to Sølager on the Columbus ferry or buy freshly caught fish for dinner. Kulhuse Kro is also located here, where you can eat traditional Danish food in a cozy atmosphere.
