Sustainable family farmhouse in central Catalonia

This family-run farmhouse was restored after the lockdown, when the family rediscovered the value of living in harmony with nature. It runs entirely on solar power and a biomass boiler, and you’ll arrive at a place where traditional rural crafts are still alive and well: wool, basket weaving, pottery, medicinal plants, and mushrooms.

The house retains the spirit of the original farmhouse and the family has lovingly restored it. You can participate in creative activities tailored to your group to discover these traditional crafts and reconnect with nature. The project combines lodging with an active creative workshop where the family works every day.

The immediate surroundings reflect the family’s commitment to minimising their impact on the landscape. The estate blends into the natural landscape of the Pla de Bages, surrounded by forest, with an atmosphere that invites you to slow down and enjoy what nature offers in every season.

Its location in the heart of Catalonia puts a wide variety of destinations within about an hour’s reach: Montserrat, Barcelona, the Costa Brava, and the Pyrenees. Near the house, you’ll find the Monastery of Sant Benet, the Bages Designation of Origin Wine Route, and the Cardona salt mines.
