You’ll be staying in a historic watermill dating back to 1833—surrounded by nature, fields, and the gentle lapping of the water. Here, you’ll find 212 square meters of true open space: five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and room for up to ten guests without feeling cramped.

What makes it special: Two connected living units form a shared house, each with its own kitchen and dining area. Perfect for multiple generations or friends—you’re together yet still have your own private retreat. Inside, you’ll find modern bathrooms, a game room with billiards and table tennis, and a separate relaxation room to unwind.

Outside, you have a large, enclosed property with a terrace, garden, and several seating areas—ideal for barbecuing, playing games, or simply lounging in the sun. A small rowboat is available, and the surrounding area is perfect for walks and bike rides. Five private parking spaces right next to the house are included.

Upon request, a linen package—which includes bed linens, towels, and dish towels—can be added for €19.50 per person.

Here, Mittelholstein shows its most peaceful side: small rivers like the Alte Sorge and the Lahn wind through the landscape, and both coasts—the North Sea and the Baltic Sea—are within reach for day trips. In Bergenhusen, you can watch storks, and all around you are fields, meadows, and wide-open spaces.
