Cottage charm near Svebølle amidst fields

A few kilometers outside Svebølle in northwest Zealand, the beautiful farmhouse, Mosehuset, stands out in the hilly landscape with its fine thatched roof and whitewashed walls. The cottage, which dates back to 1827, has been beautifully restored and exudes farmhouse style with a fresh twist. The decor is a nice mix of retro furniture, more modern flea market finds, kilim rugs and cushions. In the large living room, the exposed beams in the ceiling bring a rustic feel to the room, while the natural colored floor adds a special warmth. Relax on the large, open landing on the second floor or light the wood-burning stove and enjoy a quiet moment in the nostalgic armchair.

The 5,000 m2 grounds offer plenty of wild nature and many exciting corners to explore. In summer, it's filled with fruit, figs and berries, while the horses roam the garden at times. If you want to get creative, there's plenty of space in the workshop to make small projects with the kids.
