The surrounding area is perfect for adventures for the whole family: jump into the clear Schlei after a jog through Sieseby or relax on the wide sandy beaches of Damp. Hey, we are Karen & Alexander and the hosts of this vacation home on the small Guckelsby farm, idyllically situated on the Schlei, a beautiful Baltic Sea fjord in the north of Schleswig-Holstein. For us and our children, it is a place close to our hearts where we have spent many carefree vacation days. We have put a lot of energy and heart and soul into renovating our old cowshed to create a magical atmosphere for you to relax in. We hope you will enjoy your time here as much as we always do.

We spent a week's vacation with the whole family (11 people, 2 dogs) in the beautiful vacation apartments and felt very comfortable. The vacation apartments are very tastefully and high-quality furnished. We spent most of our time in the cowshed; the open-plan living/dining and kitchen area is a dream. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need for cooking and baking, and there is plenty of crockery, which is very pretty (not always a given). We cooked and baked together and had a wonderful time as a family. Even though the weather was sometimes rainy, there was no chance of boredom with the sauna, table football, and table tennis. There are also some beautifully designed corners in the apartment, so everyone can find their own place to read or do something else. The grounds are also fenced in, perfect for the dogs to run around. All in all, simply perfect!
