Ål cabin with views of marshland and mountains

This Ålhytta cabin has been designed with love for craftsmanship and the people who will live here. The cabin has award-winning architecture and an exceptionally practical floor plan. It stands out by blending into the landscape without dominating the surrounding nature. Here you can enjoy views of the marsh and the snow-capped mountains in three directions.

The interior has a warm and cozy atmosphere with natural materials such as wood and wool textiles. The colors are taken from the nature outside. The custom-built sofa in the living room is the heart of the cabin, where you can relax among cushions with a panoramic view.

The cabin is secluded in a cabin area where the cabins are not close together. A walk in the field is in itself a nature experience, perhaps to the large mountain lake Helgesetvannet. The clean mountain air and the scent of heather surround you.

From the cabin, it takes half an hour on foot to reach the mountain peaks, and you can continue inland to Reinsjøen with views of Hallingskarvet and Hardangervidda. In winter, there are beautiful ski trails leading inland towards Norefjell. Haglebu is five minutes away with a mountain lodge, shop, and cultural trail.
