We live in Copenhagen and love spending weekends on the island. In 2019 we bought a beautiful plot with an apple orchard. Initially we had a shelter on the plot, but in the spring of 2021 we built our lovely cottage ourselves.
Fejø is a great place because there is beautiful nature everywhere and friendly people who are passionate about sharing their island with others. For nature lovers, Fejø has it all; rich bird life, lots of flowers and butterflies. This is especially evident in our garden, which is non-toxic and wild on purpose. We love to see the season in the apple orchard and enjoy the fact that it's no more than a few hundred meters walk to the jetty.
When we're on Fejø, we love drinking coffee with the nicest people at Ro Naturcamp and jumping into the sea from the jetty. But also the solitude of a walk to the avernak towards the church and back home with a stop at Hideaway Winery with Karin for a bite of lunch or a delicious glass of locally produced wine.
