Each room is decorated with fine artwork, flea market finds and unique lamps that add charm and a lovely bohemian style. The family room, which is the heart of the house, has plenty of space for cottage dinners where you can enjoy cooking over a glass of wine. The living room is full of cushions, blankets and books and the long dining table is perfect for jigsaw puzzles or a game of cards with the whole family.

Wake up in one of the three bright bedrooms or in the lovely annex with direct access to the terrace and garden views. The terrace has its own outdoor shower for a quick rinse after a refreshing swim in the waves or sunbathing in the sun loungers. Under the covered terrace you can gather the group for a lovely lunch and light the small lamps under the canopy in the evening.

There are also a wealth of beautiful cycling and hiking routes in the area, and you can enjoy unique taste experiences at the local modern farm, Køllerødgård, which makes ice cream from its own cows and brews wine from its own vineyard.

We love using our cottage with the whole family and we feel our heart rate drop from the moment we open the gate to the large fenced-in plot.

There are 3 double bedrooms in the main house and an annex with a double bed. Ideal for 6 people, although it sleeps 8.

There's a tranquility to the area that makes even a weekend feel like a short vacation. The large open common room and the large wooden terrace that surrounds the house are our living space. Shopping is a short walk from the cottage, so it's easy to do your daily shopping.

With 700 meters to the water, there are many beautiful walks to and along the water. Smidstrup Beach has a lifeguard during the summer months, a large jetty and toilets. We also use the many cycling routes that run all over North Zealand. Otherwise, we take a trip to Gilleleje harbor, which is 5 km away.
