We are Elin and Max, and we have built our lovely cottage ourselves. The materials have been chosen in consultation with an architect, and they play beautifully with the wild nature and the fjord. We use the place fully, bathe all year round and like to invite guests to enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the summer. I, Elin, also have a workshop in the house where I paint my pictures.
We love the water and enjoy the changing seasons here. Trelde Næs is a fantastic nature reserve with badgers, otters, fallow deer, seals and eagles, and porpoises are not a rare sight on the fjord.
