We're Elin and Max, and we built our beautiful cottage ourselves. The materials were chosen in consultation with an architect and blend beautifully with the wild nature and the fjord. We use the place to the full, swim all year round and invite guests to enjoy the beautiful sunsets in the summer. I, Elin, also have a workshop in the house where I paint my pictures. Our two cats also live here, which have a place in an outbuilding and are looked after by a neighbor when we're not home.
We love the water and enjoy the changing seasons here. Trelde Næs is a fantastic protected nature area with badgers, otters, fallow deer, seals and eagles, and porpoises are not a rare sight on the fjord.
