As you enter, you'll be greeted by a country style with lots of soul and personality and many beautiful details. The rustic wooden ceilings and herringbone tile floors add warmth and a sense of idyll, while you can enjoy underfloor heating throughout the house. Gather on the comfy sofas in the living room around the open, eco-friendly Swiss chalet-style bio fireplace or enjoy cooking together in the spacious kitchen.
Outside, the surrounding park invites you to both pure relaxation and free play. By arrangement, you can access the cozy lakeside area where you can barbecue and enjoy the sunset. Close to the farm at Egtved Ådal you'll find lots of beautiful nature. See the grave of the Egtved girl and the picturesque views of Tørskind and Runkenbjerg. You can also take a trip to Kolding and experience the iconic Koldinghus and the historic city center by Kolding Fjord.

We are Liselotte and Jens Jacob, and this is our family's family farm, which has been in the family since 1949. When we took over the farm, we renovated it while making sure to preserve all the beautiful original details. We love the special soul of the farm and the beautiful nature that surrounds it.
We live in the farm's main house, so we will often be present on the property during our stay. We like to go for long walks in the surrounding forests or via the Troldhedestien trail, which goes all the way to the center of Kolding. Sometimes we also cycle along the nearby Marguerite Route or on some of the great cycling routes around Egtved Ådal. A fishing trip in one of the various rivers near the farm is also worth a recommendation. Legoland, Billund is about 30 minutes away by car.

The cottage was absolutely perfect and provided the setting for a cozy New Year's Eve. The hosts were also really nice and helpful. However, you should be aware that there is no freezer in the cottage. But other than that, nothing was missing.
