My name is Marie and I work as a creative library mediator. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the theater with my colleagues, enjoying creative pursuits, going for walks or cycling around Lake Brabrand with my sister, Freja, with whom I own the summer house.

Freja studies at the university in Aarhus and is drawn to the city's cultural life and green spaces. We both love everything the city has to offer, but we also enjoy retreating to the tranquillity and nature of the cottage. For us, it's a place where we can be together, create coziness and have a fantastic setting for a lot of wonderful times and memories.

The cottage is located in the middle of a forest area in Ebdrup in Djursland. The coziest forest trails run between the cottages, and if you want to walk a little further, there are hiking routes in the fields and plantations nearby. Mols Bjerge and Kalø Castle Ruins are not far from the cottage. The cottage is also close to Djurs Sommerland, Ree Park, Scandinavian Wildlife Park and the beautiful beach town of Følle Strand - all these places are around 15 km away. Ebeltoft is about 20 km from the cottage and is a charming old harbor town with half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets, several museums such as the Glass Museum, Fregatten Jylland and Maltfabrikken and a wealth of cozy shops and cafés.
