Dating back to the 1920s, the house has been carefully renovated and expanded by Tim and Marc a few years ago, and they have taken care to preserve the old forms of the house.

The large, sunny veranda invites you to drink coffee in the sun and in the landscaped garden of the old nursery there is a lot to discover. Here you will find an apple tree alley, an enchanting dreamy agora next to a fruit meadow and everywhere hidden seats to linger and dream.
And if the desire grabs you, explore the surrounding countryside with its many swimming lakes and beautiful forests - there are bicycles in the house, pack a lunch and jet off. Maybe you'll find a farm store to stock up on regional delicacies, cook a big feast and later play board games in front of the fireplace, or switch off from everyday life and really come to rest in nature.

We are Tim and Marc, Tim is a professor of wood construction and I, Marc, am a garden designer. We have brought the grounds of the Old Nursery and its associated house, our vacation home, back to life. We have been thoughtful in our renovation work with the old structures so that they lend themselves to contemporary use. In this work, we have avoided materials and construction methods that are not sustainable. The idea of natural cycles and the preservation of habitats is important to us, as well as the design and the cultural interventions in things that go with it.
When we are here, we spend a lot of time in nature, biking, hiking with our dog, or swimming in the many lakes that are in the area. Back at home, in the cottage, I especially appreciate the possibility of free space that the house gives me. Here we can cook sociably together or sit at the large dining table in the living hall, and when I feel more like resting, I can retreat to the porch or go to the nursery to read or be distracted by the chirping and humming of the many animals.
Balancing both in this place to create a space that is simply beautiful for visitors; beautiful because the atmosphere seems coherent - this was close to our hearts. We like to share this experience with others and so we are happy about every guest who tells us about this experience during his visit.
