Slow luxury guesthouse on the Danish island Ærø

The 200-year-old barn has been converted into a newly built two-storey apartment, which contains everything you need for a relaxing stay in beautiful and raw nature. The family farm is located on the top of Ærø overlooking the fields of the unspoilt area. The barn was previously used for cattle, a henhouse, a carriage house and a carpenter's workshop, but now houses an incredibly fine and delicious apartment decorated with carefully selected second-hand finds and lovely Nordic colours.

The large living room is open to the ceiling and the beautiful whitewashed walls create a calm and coherent atmosphere. It is furnished with a lovely small kitchen and a dining area for meals shared with the family. From the living room, there is a staircase leading up to the first floor of the guest house with two double beds. Here you can lie under the old rafters of the house - the first floor is also an ideal place to retreat and at the same time be part of what is going on in the common room. The third bed of the house is located in the bedroom on the ground floor, and here the colours and materials have created an incredibly pleasant atmosphere.

Outside is great for both children and adults. You are free to use the fire pit, trampoline, feed the chickens or take a look in the kitchen garden.
