Architect-designed cabin with sea view

Welcome to Soltun – an architect-designed cabin where design meets nature. Here, green-tinted windows and brown-colored wood cladding blend in with the surroundings, while the large windows bring the sea view right into the living room. The cabin follows the contours of the terrain with different levels that create an exciting floor plan. The open-plan kitchen, dining room, and living room with fireplace create a good flow, while the bedroom area with bathroom is secluded.

You get a landscaped plot with a lawn and several terraces facing south and southwest. There is plenty of space here for both play and lazy days in the sun. After trips to Prekestolen or the beaches, it is wonderful to return to the cabin's sunny outdoor areas.

Skjølvik offers cozy bays, skerries, and sandy beaches perfect for both young and old. You can moor a small boat at your own jetty, and the ferry will take you to Hommersåk or Stavanger city center. The area is car-free, which makes cabin life peaceful and relaxing. You park at Lauvås and walk 12-20 minutes on pleasant paths to the cabin.

Explore the hiking trails on the rocky shores around the cabin, swim in Søylevika or Egebergvika, or take a boat trip to Hommersåk, where you will find shops, restaurants, and cozy cafés. Lifjell is nearby and offers panoramic views of the entire region. Here, you are close to both the sea and the mountains.
