In the middle of the Uckermark, in the east of Brandenburg, Johanna's house is located on the outskirts of Lindenhagen, just a few minutes' walk from Sternhagen Lake. The vacation home, which looks simple from the outside, is a real architectural candy that feels wonderfully airy and spacious on the inside.
The interior design is kept modern with many interesting design elements, the open kitchenette made of light wood, the special concrete floor, many seating areas and the large windows that bring the garden felt into the house. Here the sun falls brightly on the beautiful furniture, there is room to unfold and breathe, in front of the fireplace you can really relax comfortably and the two large bedrooms offer endless views of the fields.
Here you can actually do nothing and everything - just enjoy and switch off, relax in the garden and spend a lot of time outdoors. You can go swimming in the lake, rent rowing boats, go hiking in the nature reserve on one of the many award-winning hiking trails, or take a bike ride to the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve... The possibilities are almost endless.

Hey, I'm Johanna, I'm a fashion and textile designer and I travel a lot for work - I love it because traveling gives me new impulses and inspiration for my work. Dirk is the down-to-earth one, he is a civil engineer and attaches great importance to sustainability.
When we were on vacation, we got a call asking if we were interested in a project in the Uckermark. It sounded exciting, but a house without water supply and badly cut... This challenge appealed to us.
We had to get Thomas, an architect friend, on board in any case, so we persuaded him with champagne to tackle the project with us. Then when Rainer, a friend of ours who wrote the great book "Gardens of the Present," said he would take care of the garden, it was decided: We accept the challenge. This little house in the Uckermark should become something beautiful with special emphasis on sustainability, upcycling and natural materials. This is how something came into being that we all love and hope that you like it too.
