New cottage with glass facade by Flåmselvi

Our cabin, completed in 2025, is located in the historic Brekkehagen and is designed to blur the distinction between indoors and outdoors. The huge sliding glass doors can be opened completely, allowing the river and mountains to become part of the living room. Here you will find modern architecture with clean lines and exclusive materials in perfect harmony with nature.

Inside, we have chosen a light and Nordic style that suits the landscape outside. The light wood ceiling and spot lighting create a warm atmosphere. The kitchen is minimalist with a beautiful stone-look countertop and modern black details, fully equipped for delicious dinners. The living room is furnished with comfortable furniture and earth-toned textiles, and from the sofa you have a front-row seat to the view.

Around the cabin we have a large wooden terrace that connects the bedroom and living room. Here you can enjoy the sun in comfortable outdoor furniture, surrounded by flower meadows and the sound of the Flåmselvi river flowing right past. The garden around the cabin is lush and natural, giving you the feeling of being completely alone in nature with the comforts of a modern home.

You are staying in the middle of an eldorado of nature and culture. Just 50 meters from the cabin is "Odden" with a campfire site by the riverbank. Take a trip up to Brekkefossen, explore Ramnanosi, which you can see from the terrace, or experience Nærøyfjorden by electric boat. Kayaking on Aurlandsfjorden gives you a unique nature experience close to the mountainsides.
