Surrounded by beautiful rocks and small pine trees, you'll find this traditional Norwegian cabin by Treungen. Close to Reinsvatn, with no immediate neighbors, this is a place where the whole family or group of friends can come to relax and enjoy each other's company in scenic surroundings.
If you didn't think the cabin could be as traditional inside as outside, you'll soon see that the hosts have also brought traditional elements into the cabin. Here, the wooden materials are strong, with red window frames and many traditional lamps, which together give a thoughtful and cozy look to the entire cabin.
The outdoor area of the cabin can be enjoyed all year round and in all weathers, with an outdoor fireplace, a fire pit and a roof over one of the seating areas on the terrace. The cabin is surrounded by rocks and greenery, which makes it particularly attractive in summer. Just below the cabin you'll find Reinsvatn lake, where you can swim or take a canoe or rowing boat out on the water. Fishing enthusiasts can also cast their lines here in the hope of catching something tasty for dinner, as long as you have a fishing license. You can also head to Gautefall and test your Via Ferrata skills if you want to feel the adrenaline pumping in unfamiliar terrain.
This cabin is a fantastic starting point for great cycling tours. Canva's bike hotel, located a few kilometers from the cabin, has built the bike paths that everyone is allowed to use due to the Outdoor Recreation Act in Norway. In this area, we have Scandinavia's largest rocky area in the mountains, which can offer fantastic trips - here, cycling enthusiasts will find the best experiences they can find. In addition, this area is ideal for mountain skiing experiences and just 100 meters behind the cabin you will also find cross-country skiing trails, and just 7 minutes drive from the cabin you will find Gautefall ski resort.
Other things that may be worth a visit are `Himmelriket´ just a 7-minute drive from the cabin and `Jettegrytene´ in Nissedal, just a 30-minute drive from the cabin.

This is where we come to enjoy our free time out in nature all year round. We can't wait for you to experience the cabin and everything the area has to offer in terms of activities and nature experiences.
When we're at the cabin, we like to take long walks or bike rides along the marked DNT hiking trails. Here, we can explore Scandinavia's highest rocky area, and the small and large shallow lakes.
Fine trout in Reinsvatn can be fished with a rod by purchasing a fishing license, this card also applies to nearby waters. The boat can be used for fishing.
Reinsvatn is 50 meters from the cabin, and we walk barefoot on the slight mountain down for a morning swim. The rowing boat and canoe give you the freedom to get out on the water, the sheltered coves, the beach and the rocky mountains are absolutely fantastic.
Secluded location, far away from the hustle and bustle, the silence.
Private parking 30 meters from the cabin in summer. 150 meters in winter.
