Historic holiday home by the swimming pond

Welcome to a listed railway station complex that was once built for the Prince of Braunfels. Here, you can combine history with relaxation: in summer, the swimming pond with its sunbathing lawn and hammock beckons, while in autumn and winter you can spend cozy hours by the fireplace. The discovery station in the construction trailer invites you to explore with a magnifying glass and microscope.
The detached cottage offers two bedrooms on the upper floor, accessible via a steep staircase. The small conservatory and the large covered terrace invite you to linger. The two fireplaces provide cozy warmth – sufficient firewood is provided.
The spacious natural garden is lovingly tended and offers numerous discoveries. Your dogs are very welcome here and are allowed to run around the property – however, the swimming pond is reserved for your use only. You have the entire house and garden to yourselves, only the separate summer cottage is private.
The region invites you to explore: hike through the surrounding forests, visit the nearby Braunfels Castle, or discover the charming villages in the area. The natural garden itself offers space for relaxation and nature observation, while the discovery station will delight explorers of all ages.
Fresh bed linen can be booked on request for a small surcharge of €10 per person. Please remember to bring your own towels.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
