Gula Huset offers a wonderfully airy feel with its open ceiling that extends all the way up to the roof ridge, surrounded by open fields and lush beech forests. Here, you'll stay in a bright, colour-coordinated, and newly renovated house where everything you need's close at hand for a simple and comfortable stay. Ahead of the season, we've given the house a careful refresh, featuring freshly painted walls, a completely renovated bathroom, and new, fresh furniture.

The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for holiday cooking, including staples like cooking oil, salt, pepper, and sugar. Soft towels await you in the fresh bathroom, and there’s also a washing machine for added convenience during longer stays. Upstairs, you’ll find the spacious loft bedroom with full ceiling height and a comfortable double bed (please note that the staircase leading up is steep). Downstairs, there’s also a sofa bed if you’re travelling with a larger group.

The completely secluded and undisturbed garden offers cosy dining spots for both morning and evening sun, complete with a barbecue for lovely summer evenings. On the newly built wooden deck, you can sit in comfortable chairs, fire up the barbecue, and enjoy fantastic sunsets with unobstructed views of the sky and fields.

You can easily park your car in your own parking spot right next to the cottage. With the cottage’s free rental bikes, you can easily set out on an adventure. In just three minutes by car (or a short bike ride), you’ll reach Skillinge—the charming fishing village by the sea with restaurants, a grocery store, and a wonderful beach promenade where you can swim. The bikes also take you easily to Glimmingehus, Sweden’s oldest medieval castle, which stands majestically in the middle of the fields. With its proximity to pristine white-sand beaches, picturesque Simrishamn, and Österlen’s extraordinary nature, Gula Huset is the perfect base for discovering all the best the region has to offer.
