The historic forester's lodge, built in 1895, has been lovingly renovated and offers space for up to 18 people on three floors. Here you will find two spacious apartments with professionally equipped kitchens, a sauna area in the basement, and five toilets. Perfect for family reunions or vacations with friends in the Harz Mountains.
The bright rooms are sustainably furnished and thoughtfully decorated. The two high-quality kitchens are equipped with 90s Smeg professional stoves, dishwashers, Moccamaster coffee machines, and tableware for up to 20 people. The spacious sauna area with shower and relaxation loungers invites you to unwind after a day of hiking.
The fully fenced property surrounds the house and offers several seating areas, a separate barbecue area, and a sandpit. In the open garden pavilion with a pond, you can eat or relax under cover. The historic barn opposite houses workshops and exhibition rooms. Horses are kept in the neighboring paddock all year round.
The forester's lodge is located above St. Andreasberg with a southern view of the village and the mountain peaks of the Upper Harz. Directly up the road, you will reach the Jordanshöhe with its extensive mountain meadows. The region offers numerous hiking trails, ski areas in winter, and nature experiences for outdoor enthusiasts all year round.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
