This historic forester’s house, built in 1895, has been lovingly renovated and is available for rent as a whole property. You’ll book both spacious apartments together, providing room for up to 18 people across three floors—ideal for family reunions, groups of friends, or getaways in the Harz Mountains.
Inside the house, you’ll find two professionally equipped kitchens, bright living and sleeping areas, a sauna area in the basement, and several restrooms. The rooms are furnished sustainably and thoughtfully arranged. The kitchens are equipped with Smeg professional stoves, dishwashers, Moccamaster coffee makers, and tableware for up to 20 people.
The fully fenced property surrounds the house and features several seating areas, a separate barbecue area, a sandbox, and an open garden pavilion with a pond. When you book the entire house, one thing is certain: the second apartment will not be rented out to other Landfolk guests at the same time.
The forest house is located above St. Andreasberg with a south-facing view of the village and the mountain peaks of the Upper Harz. Just up the road, you’ll reach the Jordanshöhe with its expansive mountain meadows. The region offers hiking trails, winter sports, and nature experiences all year round.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
