17th-century house below Saint-Montan castle

This 17th-century residence in Saint-Montan welcomes you to one of the most beautiful villages in France. You’ll enjoy 350 m² of living space designed to accommodate up to 12 people, complete with a private heated pool and views of the castle’s fortifications. The stone walls help maintain a naturally cool interior.

The house is divided into three distinct areas: the main wing with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 living rooms, a kitchen, and terraces; a separate ground floor with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, and a private terrace; and the pool area, featuring a summer kitchen and a bedroom with an en suite bathroom. This layout allows everyone to set their own pace.

You’ll have access to several sunny or shaded terraces, reading nooks, and a heated pool. The garden offers various spaces to socialize or enjoy some privacy, with unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains.

The medieval village is within walking distance of the house. You can explore the Chauvet 2 Cave, the Aven d’Orgnac, Provençal markets, and the region’s vineyards. The Ibie Valley and canoe trips down the Ardèche River are available for active days surrounded by nature.
