It was a gorgeous piece of land with two large decks, one with an enormous grill, with a view of an incredibly well kept garden, and the ocean. There were deer that came to eat the apples from the apple trees on the property, and blackberry bushes not too far from the house as well. We were able to use the grill on the day we had fantastic weather, and we used the wood stove in the living room on the day we had chilly rainstorm weather. Every inch of the house is charming and quaint, from a poetry collection in the bathroom, to a wall of flavored schnapps in the kitchen. The basic kitchen spices are well stocked! The only warning is that some door ways are very low hanging- so tall people beware. For our relaxed bachelorette weekend, it was simply perfect. There are beaches and walking routes in the area, as well as some stands for purchasing homemade goods, where we found some delicious black currant schnapps to enjoy in the most precious shot glasses that were available at the house
