We are a family that runs this beautiful property, our personal summer idyll, on Okse - an island located just outside Søgne and Kristiansand. The property dates from 1900 and is beautifully maintained. Personally, we love the historic setting and really enjoy the tranquillity we find here. Here we can really lower our shoulders and experience the Norwegian archipelago at its very best, while at the same time the adventures are lined up for both young and old.
One of the things we enjoy most is sitting on the pier and enjoying the beautiful view of the archipelago. Here we like to fish, stand on the SUP and make good dinners together. With only 8 minutes by boat to the mainland, where Søgne is the nearest neighbor, you can easily take the trip to Kristiansand, which is only 15 minutes away by car. We transport guests to the island and pick up at check-out. We recommend guests to rent a boat (we have three boats for rent) There are no cars or shops on the island.
