Sea views and forest tranquility at Rødtangen

At Rødtangen, just an hour from Oslo, you will find this gem of a cabin where the sea meets the forest. Here you can enjoy the tranquility with fantastic views of the Oslo Fjord from the spacious veranda, or relax in the outdoor bathtub under the starry sky.

The cabin has water from April 15 to October 15. In winter, water is supplied from water jugs, which are provided upon arrival.

The bright and inviting cabin is decorated in beige, white, and blue tones, with an open-plan living room and kitchen that creates an intimate atmosphere. Two bedrooms with room for four people make this a perfect getaway for both families and friends. The social layout invites long breakfasts around the dining table and cozy evenings in the comfortable corner sofa. You get an authentic cabin experience as the cabin is furnished in the traditional style.

The outdoor area is an oasis with several zones for both activity and relaxation. You will find a covered veranda with a barbecue and dining area, sun loungers on the lawn, and a pergola with swings and hammocks. From May, the lilacs bloom, and from July, the hydrangeas are in full bloom, while you can enjoy the sun from morning to evening. You can also take a refreshing and delicious bath in the corner bathtub on the veranda, which can be used when the summer water is on.

From the cabin, you are only a three-minute walk from the sea, and the Coastal Trail offers spectacular walks along the fjord. Three kilometers away is charming Holmsbu with its cafes and restaurants. For extra well-being, visit Holmsbu Resort, just a half-hour walk away, where a spa and pool await you.
