In winter, you can strap on your skis right outside the door and ski for miles on the slopes around Nittedal and Hakadal.

The area offers several great golf courses, fishing lakes with one of Norway's most varied fish, and swimming opportunities with a small sandy beach. You'll also find beautiful bathing waters, mushrooms and berries right by the house. From the living room window you can see parts of Varingskollen slalom slope, just a short 7-minute drive away. There are many ski slopes that are serviced with catering and light trails for those who like to ski. Oslo city center is only a 45-minute drive away, and there are buses in the surrounding area.
