Welcome to this beautiful cabin, designed to bring nature inside. The cabin is set back from the road, surrounded by blueberry bushes and a stone's throw from a trickling river. Here you can find two reindeer to greet you. The cabin is not connected to electricity, water or sewage, so if you are looking for the simple cabin life, this cabin is perfect for those who want to relax in nature.
The interior is clad in dark paneling, with large window surfaces that provide fantastic light and a feeling of being in the middle of nature. The modern space-built kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and oven as well as a fridge and fan, and the spacious bathroom features natural details such as a solid wood raw slab under the sink. A pull-out staircase leads up to the loft, where there are four beds. A sofa bed downstairs provides a further two beds.
Outside the cabin you'll find a cozy barbecue area with a fire pit, and a large lawn ideal for summer breakfasts, sunbathing and relaxing in the hot tub. For the kids, there are swings, a zip line, a sling rope and a climbing net.
The area offers many opportunities for activities. In summer, you can swim in the water that the river comes from, either on the beach or at the jumping place. In the fall and winter, there are great hiking opportunities at Liatoppen, with marked trails and good ski slopes. Solobua is just 3 km away, and there is also a small ski resort and café at Liatoppen.
Ski resorts nearby: approx. 6 min to Liatoppen Mountain Park, 28 min to Blefjellheisen and 46 min to Fagerfjell ski center.

The cabin stands on a plot of land that my grandmother dreamed of building on. I was given the opportunity to realize this dream and have designed and built much of the cabin myself. It's been an incredible journey, and the cabin represents mastery and freedom for me. It's a place where I can disconnect from the digital world and enjoy the sounds of nature. I hope you will love it as much as I do. You are most welcome!
The cabin is not connected to electricity, water or sewage. 12 volts and generator. Combustion toilet. Gas for cooking. Fireplace for heating and vebasto. (Cold cabin in winter on arrival) Water is carried in / collected from the rain barrel and emptied into the water tank in the storage room. Which provides water in the tap inside. Waste water is cleaned in underground facilities. Hot tub gets water from the river which has a golden brown color. 50 m from the road, partially drivable further in, but no access road. - Read more in my Landfolk-guide if you book a stay. Otherwise write to me if you have any questions.
We have both small and large children here and have swings and zip lines outside as well as climbing nets in the trees and then there is a gapahuk hiding on the plot. Inside there is an open sleeping loft, with a steep stepladder up. No rooms to close.

Absolutely wonderful place – we went with three children and the cable car, trampoline, wilderness bath, river, and endless blueberries made their vacation an adventure. In Kongsberg, the mines are a huge hit, as are the swimming spots by the river in the immediate vicinity.
You have to be prepared to live a little spartanly in terms of water and toilet facilities. In summer, it gets very hot in the loft, and small children may find the ladder up and down a challenge. Fortunately, there is a sofa bed at ground level, although it is probably best for children to sleep on :)
