Imagine sitting on a huge terrace surrounded by your own private forest and watching the sunset over the picturesque Heimbach Valley and Hengebach Castle. Welcome to your personal retreat in the middle of nature! This detached family home, nestled in 1.5 hectares of your own forest, offers you a unique opportunity to get away from it all and enjoy the tranquility of nature.
When designing the interior, great emphasis was placed on comfort and high-quality equipment. Three luxurious king size box spring beds promise restful sleep. Let the crackling of the tiled stove affect you while you read a book in the leather armchairs of our indoor lounge. The very well equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure and the rain-drop shower in the wellness bath is an experience in itself. Not to forget the heated outdoor lounge and sauna overlooking the private forest - perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure.
The house is located in a quiet and idyllic place, in the middle of the forest, and offers an exceptional view of the picturesque Heimbach valley. There are plenty of activities here: swim in the clear Rursee, take a canoe trip on the Rur, hike through the Eifel National Park or visit the medieval town of Monschau. And when you get back, the heated whirlpool is waiting for you to end the day in style (use of the whirlpool is upon request, as there is an additional fee).
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Hello, I'm Alice. This charming house, our very own place of power, was built in 1928 as a 'wine and coffee restaurant' and stood majestically in a quiet and idyllic location in the middle of the forest. After it was almost completely destroyed during the war, our grandparents lovingly rebuilt the house stone by stone. It has always been a place of hospitality and togetherness. In 2019, we decided to renovate the house and offer it as a vacation home. We want to give you the opportunity to experience the magic of this place.
When I arrive here, I immediately feel the peace and energy that this place gives me.
I open the door, take a deep breath—this clear, calm forest air—and let the silence sink in. The feeling of having arrived.
This is where relaxation begins.
This house is not a place to "stay overnight." It is a place to unwind, take a deep breath, and reconnect with yourself. Simply a place of power.
