Right on the lake, surrounded by 20 hectares of forest—this spacious, historic country house offers you a level of natural beauty that's hard to find anywhere else. A 2-kilometre hiking trail winds through the property's own wooded area along the lakeshore. Canoes and Canadian canoes are waiting at the jetty, and you can launch a large wooden raft further out onto the lake if you'd like.
The property's got two accommodations. The holiday let's got two bedrooms, a bathroom with natural light, and a bright kitchen-living room with a view of the forest and lake. The farmhouse's got six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen with a gas stove and an old wood-burning stove, a living room with a fireplace, and a library.
The garden features a large gas barbecue, old fruit trees, wild rose hedges and berry bushes alongside well-manicured lawns. There's plenty to explore around the fire pit with its swivel barbecue, the trampoline and the table tennis table in the barn. You'll also find a sauna annex with a relaxation room.
The Müritz National Park, with its walking and cycling trails, is about 15 km away; the Serrahn Forest Adventure Trail's highly recommended. The county town, Waren an der Müritz, is about 10 km away—there, you can visit the Müritzeum or take a boat trip. Neustrelitz and the Ivenacker Oaks are other places worth visiting.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

Highlights from Anna & Henrik and Anna
Host since September 2026
- Explore the 2-kilometre-long lakeside trail through our own 20-hectare forest
- Paddle out onto the lake in a canoe or Canadian canoe from your own jetty
- You'll find the Müritz National Park, with its beech forests and guided tours, about 15 km away
We're Anna and Henrik, and we live in Berlin with our four sons. We bought this farmhouse in 2017 and we've been steadily renovating it ever since. Since we love to cook, play, read and draw, the house is perfectly equipped for all of that.
