Welcome to a unique tree house floating among the treetops in Dalarna, where you can truly experience nature and give your senses free rein. This large red moon, swinging among the trees, offers a safe place to enjoy nature at a height of 3 meters. From here you can see a moose grazing under the hut, and in the evening you can look straight through the dome window into the starry sky, with a chance to see the northern lights from the tree house.
The treehouse is equipped with soft foam mattresses, a double bed and a single bed that can be folded into a sofa during the day. Inside, there's a cozy wood-burning stove (fully fireproof, of course) and for cold months there's extra underfloor heating to keep you warm in all seasons. Materials and techniques are borrowed from the aviation industry: steamed ash, aluminum and light insulation. The tree house is covered with thick canvas and is fully insulated.
During the warmer months, you can use the outdoor facilities just below your treehouse. There you will find an outdoor kitchen and a bathroom on wheels. During the cold season, you can have breakfast and cook in the kitchen in an apartment for your exclusive use and not far from Mireille and Willem's main property, about 5 minutes from your treehouse. If you feel like an ice bath and a hot sauna afterwards, or a long breakfast with local delicacies, don't be shy to contact your hosts about it. They are happy to help and support your endeavors.
Locally, the area has rich experiences to offer. For example, you can explore and visit Årteråsens Fäbodar, a place of summer pastures where farmers' wives and daughters once grazed their cows during the summer. The site is steeped in history and culture, while offering enchanting views of the surrounding valleys and lakes. Plus, you can explore the countless activities in Dalarna, from wilderness adventures to visits to traditional craft workshops.

Hello, we are Mireille and Willem. In 2014, we were ambitious enough to make a bold move: we moved our family from the Netherlands to Dalarna in Sweden. Inspired by the amazing beauty of Dalarna's nature, we started a nature tourism business - comfortable and unique rural accommodation on the edge of the wilderness. According to our guests we are good at it; our concept of being small, personal and taking time for our guests is remarkable in these times when so much has to be done and done quickly. We look forward to welcoming you to our treehouse!
