The cabin is located at the foot of Blefjell, right by Sandvatn. The lake is known for its excellent swimming and fishing opportunities, often with warm water. From here, there are beautiful hiking trails in Blefjell, and you can take day trips to Rjukan, Gaustatoppen, and Hardangervidda.
