Chalet at Ruppberg with sauna and mountain view

An authentic nature experience awaits you in this lovingly designed chalet on the outskirts of Zella-Mehlis. Nestled in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Thuringian Forest, the house offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the idyllic Ruppertstal valley.

The modern furnishings with natural wood elements create a harmonious atmosphere. After an active day, the private sauna invites you to relax, while the spacious dining area and comfortable reclining chairs are perfect places to retreat. For relaxing hours in the sauna, including towels and infusion oil, there is a fee of €60 for stays of 1–3 nights and €90 for stays of 4–7 nights.

The balcony, with its comfortable garden furniture and barbecue fireplace, is the ideal place to enjoy the natural surroundings. A hammock in the outdoor area promises additional moments of relaxation in the fresh mountain air.

From here, you can start your hike directly on the famous Rennsteig trail. In winter, 70 km of groomed cross-country trails and various ski runs nearby beckon. The UNESCO Vessertal Biosphere Reserve with its crystal-clear streams is just as worth seeing as the culturally rich cities of Erfurt and Weimar in the surrounding area.
