We are Josephine and Jakob, and together with our three children we have this fantastic place. We've owned it since 2014, but because my family have always been guests in the area, I've always known about the house - it's one of those 'famous' houses, and there are also two sister houses in the area. There have been few owners of the house over the years, so there are many fine old details. We've also made ongoing improvements ourselves, plastering and caring for the house to keep it beautiful.
Nowadays we live in Klampenborg, and we simply love coming home to the cottage, where the large unspoilt grounds invite outdoor activities, the children can play in the playhouse and I can get away to walk and cuddle around. There's a special calm about the whole family when we're here.
We often go to the beach, because it's only 150 metres away, and the place is in no way crowded. There are nice beach houses that are fun to look at and then both the forest, Tisvildeleje, and Gilleleje are close by.
