Restored trullo in the Apulian countryside

This trullo in the Apulian countryside has been restored room by room, transforming each original space into a functional and livable area: three bedrooms, a garden with a pool, and a history visible in every corner of the property.

The cows’ feeding trough has become the kitchen, the granary houses the double bedroom with an adjacent bathroom, and the wine press where grapes were once crushed is now the master bedroom. The two double bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and direct access to the garden. The living room is located in the former stable, with a separate sitting area equipped with a TV and a sofa bed.

The garden is the property’s highlight. The pool overlooks the trulli-dotted countryside, fig trees provide natural shade, and the wood-fired oven has been transformed into an outdoor dome-shaped shower. The gazebo, complete with a kitchen table and seating area, rounds out the outdoor space for days spent outside.

The Itria Valley offers historic towns such as Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Cisternino, and Ostuni. In Martina Franca, you’ll find Café Vinci, the Pollo d’Oro grill, and the Fragnelli dairy. Toward the coast, Monopoli features a historic center, the Santo Stefano beach, and coves like Porto Ghiacciolo and Cala Diavolo where you can go for a swim.
