Welcome to a unique glamping experience in Tromsø! The glamping tent is designed to embrace the surrounding nature, with a large window facing the river and mountains, and an even larger skylight that invites in the midnight sun and northern lights. The glamping tent has electric underfloor heating and a lovely wood-burning stove for warmth and comfort. But be aware that it's a tent, so it's not as warm as inside a normal house.
The dome is ideal for a couple to stay in, but it can also be installed with beds for up to five people (one queen-size bed and 3 single beds). When you rent the dome, you also get access to the luxurious mini house 1 meter away from the dome, which has a bathroom, toilet, kitchen, living room and sleeping space with beds for up to five people. The dome is 23 sqm and the mini house is 21 sqm. The mini house has a water and energy-efficient hot water system that can use up to 15 liters of hot water every 30 minutes.
The interiors of the dome and mini house have been carefully selected and finished with quality materials. From retro teak furniture to contemporary decor, this place has a warm and cozy atmosphere. The mini house has a panoramic window overlooking the river and mountains, and there are two sleeping lofts with a double bed and a single bed. The mini-house also has a home theater with internet, screen and projector for cozy movie nights.
Outside the buildings, you'll find an outdoor jacuzzi that maintains a constant temperature of 40 degrees. It's a magical experience to enjoy a warm and relaxing bath while the northern lights dance in the sky above you. It's all just a few meters from a great spot in the Storelva river, so you can just get up, stretch and go for a refreshing swim right in the river. An inviting fire pit in the garden provides space for cozy evenings around the fire.
The farm is popular with local and visiting outdoor enthusiasts. It is the starting point for several kilometers of farm roads, trails to mountain peaks, valleys and beaches. The forest is full of berries and mushrooms in season, and it's a short distance to great fishing lakes. The farm has its own beach area facing Skulsfjorden, a very popular spot for deep-sea fishing. It's also just 25 minutes from the bustling city life of Tromsø.

Storjord Farm is a local, family-run business. I am a trained organizational psychologist and love designing and creating memorable experiences for my customers and guests. I have worked in tourism for almost a decade and have created a glamping experience that is part of the farm's Farmstay concept. The glamping consists of a beautifully decorated dome with wood burning and electric underfloor heating. The dome is directly connected to an exclusive mini house with a fully integrated kitchen, bathroom, living room, home theater and extra sleeping space. I have placed the glamping in an idyllic and private location in the heart of the farm property. The Storelva river flows quietly through the farm, full of salmon and trout in season and a favorite swimming spot on fine summer days. Wildlife is close to the house walls with reindeer, river, otters, birds and horses. The place is ideal for those seeking the northern lights. When we're not renting out to guests, the family enjoys using the place ourselves - the kids fish and swim in the river and we enjoy the farm life in long breaths. And it is our great pleasure to offer the place to you so that you too can share this unique experience.
