Boathouse stay in historic Fågelsundet

Experience the unique feeling of living right by the water in this charming boathouse in Rännan, the most sheltered part of Fågelsundet. Here you can enjoy the proximity to the sea with zero meters to the water and your own jetty in a perfect sunny location. At your disposal is a rowboat, a Canadian canoe, and sea kayaks for adventures on the water.

The boathouse is spread over two floors, with the ground floor housing a well-equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The upper floor serves as a living room with a larger room with three beds and a smaller bedroom with two beds. For evening entertainment, there is both a TV and video games. Experience a stay in simplicity with a separate toilet and, instead of a shower, you can enjoy a cleansing swim in the sea. The boathouse does not offer running water, but water cans are available.

On the land side, you have access to a headland that is perfect for swimming and relaxation. For families with children, there is an inviting sandy beach within easy reach. The jetty in front of the house becomes your private oasis for sunbathing and evening dips.

Fågelsundet, once one of the largest fishing villages on the east coast, offers a unique environment with historic boathouses and cookhouses. From here, you can explore the gems of the Hållnäshalvön peninsula or take day trips to charming industrial towns such as Lövstabruk and Forsmark. For city life, both Öregrund and Östhammar are within easy reach.
