The house was built in 1800, but has since been restored in 1960 and again in 2021/22. Everything has been renovated with respect for the 60s style, and the family has preserved as much as possible, so you can feel the original retro style of the house. The family lives in 'Aserbo', but the house is divided into two independent homes, where you as guests have one of the homes to yourselves.
The large natural plot totals 5.5 hectares, including two hectares of forest, a park-like garden and a large open field. In the garden you'll find a lovely area with a hot tub for enjoying nature, a smoking oven for evening meals on the covered terrace, and a large lawn for family soccer games or a quiet yoga session in the shade of the big old trees.
Just five minutes away is the fantastic jetty in Åbyskov, ready for a morning dip or a fishing trip. A lovely walk will take you to Vejstrup Ådal, and then it's not far to child-friendly Smørmosen on Thurø or scenic Thurø Rev. After a beautiful drive along the water, you'll arrive in Svendborg, which is buzzing with culture and life all year round.
The whole area exudes wonderful South Funen nature with hilly landscapes, forests, river valleys and, not least, many beautiful beaches by the sound.

Our names are Trine and Michael. We bought Aserbo in 2020 and have since worked to create the perfect setting for a unique vacation home. We live on the property ourselves and love to go into cozy Svendborg, go for walks in the surrounding nature or down to the sea, but nevertheless, we just love to be on the nature plot and in the forest, where there are plenty of nooks and crannies for relaxation and coziness. The area is hilly and Aserbo is located in its own little valley. It's a five-minute walk to an exquisite seaside resort/bridge. And a few kilometers to several beautiful beaches and fishing spots.
You can play rounders, shuttlecock or soccer on the large lawn and there are places to sit in the forest and throughout our grounds. We are completely secluded from neighbors and have no car noise or commotion here. The silence, peace and nature here are highlighted by many of our guests as unique. As our guests, you have your own secluded area with two gardens, covered terrace, bonfire and barbecue area.
Whatever you're in the mood to do, we have some insider knowledge of the area's many possibilities, including contacts for food delivery, sub or kayak lessons, and an overview of various activities in Svendborg. Of course, we respect your privacy, but we see it as an advantage that we are close by so we can help, for example, with lighting up the hot tub. We look forward to welcoming you to our paradise.

The house is truly fantastic, absolutely beautiful and decorated with great taste in a very 1960s style. The house was very clean, with little touches such as fresh flowers picked from the garden. The cupboards and kitchen are superb. We were warmly welcomed by Trine and Mikael, who were really friendly and attentive hosts.
the house is ideally located between Svendborg and Lundeberg, in a place where you can easily visit the surrounding area on foot, by bike or by car. The garden and grounds are beautiful and you can walk around, and even the dog is very friendly
