We are Julie and Jon, and this is our wonderful holiday home in Lumsås, which we share with Julie's mother, Annette, and her husband Jens. After living next door for many years, we finally had the opportunity to buy our dream summer house.
We love that the cottage is located in a slightly older cottage area where there is a variety of houses. It is wonderfully close to the beach facing Sejerøbugten, which on "our" stretch is more undisturbed, even on the good summer days. The plot is "wild on purpose".
We love to visit cozy Nykøbing Sjælland, where we like to eat at Lokalkompagniet. When the kids were younger, Sommerland Sjælland was also a regular tradition. We often shop at Fiskehandleren in Havnebyen, where there are also delicious things to find at Havnebyen's coffee shop and good pizzas.
We highly recommend TIR bakery at Yderby Lyng if you're looking for great breakfast bread. Right next to TIR you'll find the best burger in the area at Olgas.
