Fully renovated 1914 home with beach nearby

The house in Ristesund was built in 1914 and has been completely renovated with the goal of preserving as much of the original structure as possible. You’ll find traces of different eras—a blend of old and new, where many of the items in the house have their own stories.

The interior reflects deliberate design choices, with items reused wherever possible. The house features a small library with books from various genres, and indoor games such as Ludo, Scrabble, and Backgammon are available for when you gather around the table in the evening.

On the property, you’ll find outdoor games such as croquet, darts, horseshoe toss, Mölkky, and Kubb. The beach is about 100 meters from the house, where you can swim, sunbathe, or have a barbecue on the sand.

The area offers marked trails for hiking in the mountains and along the coast, and the roads are well-suited for biking with little traffic. About 10 minutes away is an outdoor soccer field with natural grass. A free ferry takes you to the neighboring island of Sandsøy in about 20 minutes, where you’ll find a padel court, a climbing wall, a restaurant, and a pub.
