We are a small family with two adults and two children aged 9 years and 1.5 years. We live in Vesterbro in Copenhagen. We enjoy living in the city, but we use our summer house as a sanctuary. We bought it in May 2021 and we've spent a lot of time here since then. Here children and adults can relax, enjoy nature, the garden and the sea.

We love the beach, which is 150 meters from our door. It's child-friendly, with small shallow lagoons and plenty of opportunities for paddleboarding, snorkeling and crab fishing. We especially love that Reersø is not just a summer cottage area, but also a vibrant little community with year-round housing, local brewery and cafés and much more.
