This charming villa is located in the Uckermark, between Berlin and the Baltic Sea. In a heavenly quiet location you can enjoy the surroundings with its fields, forests and lakes. Daniela and Martin have put a lot of heart and soul into the redesign of the over 100 year old house. The result: a cozy vacation villa, whose original character is even better accentuated with the help of the modernizations.
Especially the interplay of interior and exterior is enchanting. The spacious dining and living room offers unique views over the garden into the countryside. And the light-flooded country kitchen is equipped with all kinds of equipment for amateur cooks and bakers.
One of the many rooms furnished with attention to detail is the bathroom with its cast-iron bathtub and unique view of the fields. The winter garden represents a retreat in all seasons, where you can either spend time alone or share it with your fellow travelers. Thereby, a fireplace provides especially much coziness.
Active vacationers will also find a wide range of activities on offer here. Yoga mats are available for you in the house and there are picturesque lakes and great bike paths nearby. Bring a roof rack if you want to use the house canoe!

Raising three daughters in the international heart of Berlin was a great experience, exposed our girls to culture and the arts, music, theater, architecture and food from all around the world from early on, but also made us crave for nature, time outside, calm and laissez-fair and visiting friends in the Uckermark on a late summer weekend made us all agree: this is the place. We found the villa with the large park-like property surrounded by fields and at least 500 m from the next neighbor to be exactly the special place we were looking for. It took a major remodel over 4 years to allow us to realize our dream project. When we finished 2020 life had taken us to live abroad for an extended period, so that we are now spending time between Los Angeles, New York and Berlin - but always greatly enjoying coming back here and spending quality time with friends and family. And our daughters, now teens to young adults like to come independantly to spend friend-weekends here as well. Important to mention that the experience of being part time country lovers made us add two dogs (also girls, for sure) to the family: Pippa (LA Viszla lady) and Ava (Berlin mutt).
