We are a family of four who live in Amager and own this classic cottage. We wanted to come back to beautiful Odsherred, where I, Anna, am from and where my husband spent many of his summers as a child. Here we can share our childhood memories with our children and create new memories together, and we enjoy that the house is only an hour from Copenhagen. Since we bought the cottage, we have put our own stamp on it - with great respect for the building style and soul of the house.
The cottage is our sanctuary with access to beautiful nature, including a lovely beach at the end of the road. Nature looks the same as when I lived there, but a lot more has happened - we keep discovering new cool initiatives such as the small micro-bakery Sølt, which we have fallen in love with. We like to go to Rørvig harbor and eat an ice cream from the yellow ice cream parlor, where you get the best homemade ice cream. When we go shopping, we often stop by Nykøbing, where you'll also find the eatery, Lokalkompagniet, where you can taste many locally produced delicacies, including juices from Sidinge orchard.
