You will be staying in a former village school in Rensow, which has been designed according to the wabi-sabi philosophy. This Japanese aesthetic celebrates simplicity and natural imperfection. The historic building can accommodate up to 10 people in two apartments and one double room.

The rooms are simply and authentically furnished. The building is heated exclusively by stoves, which contributes to its special atmosphere. The historical elements have been deliberately preserved and combined with minimalist design.

The house has its own garden with a rustic, wood-fired sauna, which is exclusively available to you. You have free access to the overgrown park of the nearby manor house with centuries-old trees, seating and lounging areas, and barbecue facilities.

Your hosts will be happy to talk to you to find out what interests you and then give you specific recommendations for the region. The Alte Schule is particularly suitable for group trips and company retreats with a minimum stay of two nights.
