Cabin by ski trails near Hardangervidda

You will find peace and tranquility in this cabin, regardless of the season. Here, the pace automatically slows down a little, and on cold winter days, there is nothing better than sitting in front of the fireplace with something warm in your cup, while the flames crackle and the mountains show their rugged side outside the windows.

The cabin is warm and personal—a place made to be used. The decor mixes comfort with soul: old rugs, skins, tapestries, nature pictures, and little things that have been allowed to come along through time. It gives the rooms warmth and character, and a feeling of being a place where you want to stay a little longer than planned.

The kitchen is open to the living room but slightly set back, so it feels social without being intrusive. From here, the room opens onto the living room, where a beautiful old wooden table seats ten people – perfect for long meals and good conversation. Large windows let nature in, and it's just a short walk to the terrace with a fire pit, benches, and camping chairs.

The area offers great hiking opportunities all year round. In winter, cross-country trails are right outside the door, and Hardangervidda is close by. In summer, cycling Rallarvegen is popular, and there are nice day trips to Tvergastein at the foot of Hallingskarvet. Geilo is close by with alpine skiing, restaurants, and services.
