Enjoy days in traditional log cabin

Completely undisturbed, this lovely, traditional log cabin lies 906 meters above sea level with grass on the roof and sheep grazing around the cabin wall. Here you get modern comfort in a unique setting with traditional cabin furniture, cozy textiles, raw timber walls and an elk head on the wall. Here you can retreat and enjoy the calm and cozy time together as a family. The new guest cabin also offers the opportunity to bring the entire extended family to the cabin.

The interior is characterized by the warm atmosphere we associate with cottage life. The cabin is furnished in a typical Norwegian way with furniture that has been inherited, and has many cozy memories associated with it. With beautiful references to the Norwegian cabin tradition, a lovely sofa nook in front of the fireplace with room for the whole family and personal details that really set the mood, you have everything you need for a really cozy holiday together.

Prepare the day's meals together in the cozy kitchen and enjoy them together at the long dining table. Here you can have long conversations over a good meal or play games together in the evenings after a long day in the mountains. In the kitchen, there is a cozy nook where you can keep the chef company or drink your first cup of coffee of the day with a good book.

The area around the cabin offers wonderful hiking opportunities in summer and winter, and is something that can form the framework for many great experiences together as a family. Visit the Hardangervidda national park, which is directly behind the cabin, or enjoy alpine skiing at the ski center in Ulvdal.

After a few hours out in the fresh mountain air, you can grill sausages on the terrace and enjoy them leaning against the sun-warmed cabin wall. The paving around the cabin means that the outdoor area is arranged for play, sunbathing and just enjoying the peace, the sun, the view and each other's company.
