The cabin is located close to Hardangervidda National Park, an eldorado for those who enjoy high mountain nature. The area offers countless opportunities for hiking and trail biking. In summer, there are also great rafting opportunities, horseback riding, go-karting and fishing in Numedalslågen.
In winter, there are cross-country skiing trails for both classic and ice skating. Fat biking in winter has become very popular.
There is a separate ski resort just 5 minutes' drive away. There is also Norway's toughest toboggan run.
It takes 25 minutes to drive to Geilo alpine village.
