Summer house on nature plot surrounded by forest

We had a lovely stay in this cozy holiday home, beautifully located just behind the dunes in the woods. The beach was within easy walking distance, and the quiet setting offered plenty of privacy. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, the charming interior, and the convenient location close to the supermarket, the beach, and other attractions. As four adults, we found the house spacious enough, and it had everything we needed for a week away. Unfortunately, the cleanliness upon arrival did not meet our expectations. There were cobwebs under the cupboards, the fireplace and outdoor fire pit had not been cleaned out. Despite paying extra for a package advertised to include fresh bedding, the duvets and pillows did not appear to have been replaced. One of the stovetop burners was also not working. Additionally, the advertised bicycles were old, heavily rusted, and no longer usable. The single bathroom was also a little too small for four adults, and there was very limited storage space for clothes and other belongings. Despite these shortcomings, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay, particularly thanks to the peaceful surroundings and excellent location. We were also able to take easy day trips to Copenhagen and Helsingør. Even with a few rainy days, we enjoyed some very cozy moments in the house, especially having delicious coffee made with the espresso machine!
