This massive log cabin at 1005 meters above sea level offers you a unique mountain experience where nature and architecture meet. The central fireplace creates a natural gathering place between the kitchen and living room, while high-quality music equipment and massive log walls provide exceptional acoustics that you will rarely experience elsewhere.
Inside, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with professional equipment for food lovers – with good knives and quality pans. The bedrooms are furnished with Jensen mattresses and real down duvets for optimal comfort. The sauna and outdoor hot tub provide a luxurious end to your mountain hikes.
The property is nestled in a mountain birch forest where nature almost merges with the cabin. From the windows, you can observe a rich wildlife – reindeer, foxes, eagles, hawks, wild sheep, and various bird species regularly visit the area. Binoculars and a bird book are available for those who want to explore further.
Hallingnatten and other top destinations are right outside the door with spectacular 360-degree views. For alpine enthusiasts, Uvdal Alpine Center is only 45 minutes away, and cross-country skiing is right outside the door. Rødberg offers everything from groceries to specialty shops with yarn and gourmet food. Fishing and outdoor activities are available year-round.

Hi! Trude and Marius here. We love our cabin and are passionate about sharing this mountain experience with our guests. This is a rare natural gem. Here you can see eagles, reindeer, cranes, owls, foxes, and hares all in the same day. There are summit opportunities as far as the eye can see, and the journey begins when you step out of the cabin door. If you enjoy ski touring, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing, there are fantastic opportunities for this too. If you want to experience wolves up close, it is a 7.5 km walk to Langedrag Nature Park. The bear park is a short drive away. We are happy to offer guided tours and personal tips to make your stay unforgettable. We are here for you!
Best regards from
Trude and Marius
